Homeless man found dead in a cold car; medical examiner suspects it was a drug overdose

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the death of a 51-year-old homeless man, who was found in a car about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 8700 block of West Capitol Drive.

The Medical Examiner’s Office tweeted late Saturday that the man died of possible weather exposure, but a representative from the examiner’s office said later that the case is being investigated as a possible drug overdose.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
